Architecture
IRIS IVDX Cloud with Server-based Cloud Collaboration platform is a highly scalable solution based on an IP-based communication server platform that provides multimedia call processing. Its rich IMS architecture allows the scalability of each resource depending on customer requirements and can scale up to 100,000 subscribers. This rich call-handling application ported on load sharing self-healing distributed SIP session manager delivers world-class business telephony. The system, based on a fully distributed architecture can work like a cloud on Geo-redundant servers yet optimizes separate media & signaling services. It complies with various open standard interfaces like QSIG, H.323, XMPP, SIP and CSTA used for various networking applications. Cloud architecture can offer server redundancy across geographic locations & self-survivable remote shelves/MGW to ensure a high degree of uptime. Server virtualization, Network resource sharing, NTP synchronization of nodes, Mac binding, CAC, load sharing as well as SBC are standard features supported in the IMS architecture. Cloud-based distributed platform with redundancy in SIP server, database server as well as registrar ensures hundred percent uptime. These redundant servers work in “active-active” “N+1” format to provide customers an always available communication platform. The system further offers media and link redundancy to ensure uninterrupted communication such that if one IP path fails alternate IP path will take over. Further, if IP fails communication will seamlessly flow over TDM channels. Thus, making the resilient with high availability assured over hardware failure, link failure as well as protocol independence. Supports offline software upgrades and auto-boot when power is restored to ensure uninterrupted communication. Manual and automated backup mechanisms can be configured while all databases are stored in duplicated RAM discs as well as on hard discs with their own redundant Raid 1/2/3 formats.
Metro Rail Communication
The backbone of this metro rail communication solution is centered around a SIP-based IP-PBX system, which is critical for managing voice and data communication across the network. How the system is structured:
Core Communication Servers at OCC and BCC:
The dual-server setup (OCC and BCC) in active-active mode ensures high availability and resilience of the communication system. This setup allows for continuous operation even in the event of a server failure, maintaining communication integrity across the metro network.
Network Management System (NMS)
The NMS Server can be installed at OCC and BCC. It provides a real-time view of the entire network, allowing operators to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the communication infrastructure.
