Server Based IPPBX

Truly IP at core exchange where all calls are switched by a call server that does Authentication Accounting & Administration of each call. Call server is connected to the Media Gateway Unit (MGU)/ Remote Line Unit (RLU) on IP link and all processing in the backplane is IP based. The call server can be configured for High availability in distributed processing architecture or in centralized processing mode. Load balancing & Call admission control protocols are implemented for enhanced performance. Distributed cloud based architecture provides resilience in the switching fabric across multiple location to ensure that communication remains un-interrupted even if one or more sites are not reachable.

IRIS IVDX Cloud can be configured as a Voip based train control communication system (TCCS) meeting various communication requirements for control and management of train movement. Coral VoIP based TCCS provides flexible call control with HD quality voice communication. It supports multimedia-based emergency communication & can also integrate with legacy systems. Existing train control communication system is based on legacy analog telephony backhauled on TDM architecture which can easily migrate to IMS architecture riding on the robust TCP/IP infrastructure along with other voice and data services. IMS architecture would enable voice as well as video conferencing options with a provision to record, archive and retrieve such communication. It would also provide seamless interface with IP based paging system that will overcome barrier of distance allowing alerts and announcements being made across stations.
