Metro Communication Solution
Architecture
The backbone of this metro rail communication solution is centered around a SIP-based IP-PBX system, which is critical for managing voice and data communication across the network. How the system is structured:
Core Communication Servers at OCC and BCC:
The dual-server setup (OCC and BCC) in active-active mode ensures high availability and resilience of the communication system. This setup allows for continuous operation even in the event of a server failure, maintaining communication integrity across the metro network.
Network Management System (NMS)
The NMS Server can be installed at OCC and BCC. It provides a real-time view of the entire network, allowing operators to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the communication infrastructure.
Direct Line Telephone System
The Direct Line Telephone System (DLT) enables emergency and dispatcher calls to be made from the Wayside, Tunnel areas, Passenger Stations etc., Provided Later Stations and Electrification System Buildings to the OCC, and from the Yard Areas to the Depot Control Room. Keeping the highest safety standards, the communications system will be managed by a centralized control system. The Solution provides to serve the operation control centre, maintenance control centre, all passenger stations and the depots.
Integrating communication systems with a Voice Logger system over SIP Rec (Session Initiation Protocol Recording) provides a standardized method for capturing and recording voice communications over IP networks. SIP Rec is specifically designed for recording SIP-based VoIP (Voice over IP) calls, enabling seamless integration with communication platforms that use SIP protocols. Recording system will record conversations across all devices on the network including 4G / 5G mobile phones paging systems and free space mic.
